16 Days Of Activism – Expert Talk

Learn more about rights, laws and available legal help against gender-based violence, brought to you by the team at Brimbank Melton Community Legal Centre.

Martin Ha is the Principal lawyer at the Brimbank Melton Community Legal Centre (a program of Comm Unity Plus Services). The legal centre aims to improve the lives of the most disadvantaged and marginalised members of the community in the West, we do this by providing free legal services for people who live, work or study in the Brimbank, Melton and Bacchus Marsh communities. Our areas of expertise include: family law and family violence; debt; tenancy; fines, and criminal law.

16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is an international campaign to challenge violence against women and girls. The campaign runs every year from 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to 10 December, Human Rights Day.
This year, let’s commit to increasing awareness about violence against women. Everybody has a role to play.
